Still clinging on

Most of the fruits and berries in Pollok Park are well protected from inclement weather. We have been spared the worst of the forecasted wind but there a fair number of leaves on the ground, also a fair number of conkers which had been attacked by the squirrels and the lovely chestnut coloured seeds already eaten.

Tomorrow my friend and I are heading off to the Lake District for a few days R&R. No tough climbs or walks as Eileen continues her recovery from a knee replacement.
