Mum and Dad

Mum and Dad had a bit of a road trip today. Up from the Wild West coast to the calmness of the east ;). First stop was a visit to aunt elspeth (dad's eccentric twin sister) in Arbroath. Elspeth and John plied them with cakes and dumpling and extra strong tea. They arrived at ours just after 5. The sun was shining so it was a glass of cava for mum and a lemonade for dad in the sun! Great to have a catch up.

As always the time passed too quickly. Still once the holidays are over we should get to see them again in July.

They have been married for 53 years now and they still share a chuckle and are as thick as thieves! They've "got each other's backs" as the youth of today would say!

Looks like that might be Friday on the horizon! Hurrah :)
