A strange little day.....

last week i saw a friend at the park and she mentioned to me that her brother in law was getting married, it was a bit of a rushed event and there was no money left fr a photographer and would i take some pics for them??? at first i just laughed but when i looked at her face and realised that she wasn't messing of course i said yes but did warn her that im not any where near a photographer!

the wedding wasn't until 4 so i had some things to do before hand. me and babies had a play in the garden in the morning where caleb got to model one of his new birthday outfits from his aunty becky.
i had to take little mans converse back as im gonna get the bigger size no need him having two when he prefers to be bare foot any way :)
dropped babies off at mum and dads so they could enjoy the nice weather.
by time i got back it was actually nearly time for me to go again so i had a quick lunch with them at my mums then a VERY nervous me went to take some pics.

i arrived first (thats a first!) i don't think i was this nervous even on my own wedding day. then my friend arrived and the groom. wow i take it back now he was nervous!!!!
laura explained to him why i was there and i think amongst the nerves he was happy that he would get some pics to remember his big day. i did tell him ill try my best.
then the bride arrived so i got some pics of her getting out the car with her mum and she was every surprised as she had no idea. so i quickly explained and off she went o get married :)

the wedding was very sweet and they actually got married by the same registrar who married me and mark.
then it was outside and my time to get nervous again. ive learnt that group shots are hard as at least one person will not listen to you. kids really don't like their picture taken even though the happy couples daughters where two little beauties . the couple them self did exactly as i asked. but the only ideas i had one from my own wedding pics. i got a great pic of the groom with his parents giving him a big kiss from both sides, you have to have a comedy pic in your album.one of my favourite ones has to be down to the pure cheesiness of it, the whole group pic with the hands in the air, every wedding has to have one :) all in all i was please with most, some i learnt as i was going on where good light was but hey ho what do i know.

got home just in time for mum and dad to bring babies back on their trikes.
pizza for tea and then i sat and went through the days pics.
