Devil's-bit scabious

Today was forecast to be very wet, so we planned a day around the caravan. In the end the forecast was almost completely wrong and it turned out to be a pretty good day. I went for a walk along the moor road in the morning, where there is plenty of devil's-bit scabious in flower at the moment. Butterflies were flittering around and I managed to capture the Scotch Argus butterfly in the extra. Mum and I sat outside enjoying the sunshine for the rest of the morning and then we headed over to Fidden beach in the afternoon. It was colder by then and we were caught in a light rain shower, but it didn't come to much. We had a cup of tea in Fionnphort and then headed back to the caravan. Grateful for all the wonderful flowers and wildlife here.
