Last of the light

Although it was a sunny start to the day when I met up with a friend to go to the gym for a coffee and Pilates.  However we managed to get wet in a brief rain shower.  An enjoyable class.  I spent the afternoon baking an apple cake I thought I may take to my cousins later in the week but decided it was too sweet and I preferred my usual recipe.  So I will stick with the familiar one.

Some courgettes and raspberries were picked earlier in the day and I was just going down to the allotment to pick some french beans when my neighbour called with some runner beans and raspberries from our shared plot so I will save the french ones for tomorrow.

I just caught the last of the sun this evening.
