Everyday Life

Crest Of A Wave

Last night we chilled out at home and had a G&T or two (Lager for Bri!)

Nothing to rush around for today, so we haven't! A wash-load has been done but that is about it really. Before lunch we decided to drive down to Hartsholme Park to go for a walk and look for Blips. When we arrived I said to Brian that I hoped we'd see Great Crested Grebes so I was very happy to see this one with two chicks. This chick never left its mother's side - the other was more adventurous and swam further away most of the time.

Today Bri has booked us tickets to go to Leeds to see Wigan play next Saturday. This is the first time we have been brave enough to try to go to a game since the situation with my Dad became more unpredictable. So long as there are no major issues we should be OK. And because it is Leeds and Grace lives right by Headingley Stadium we may be able to call in and say Hi to her and Sophia too!

I'm watching Arsenal v Man U now! Marcus Rashford just scored a Wondergoal and less than a minute later Arsenal hit straight back with an  equaliser.
