Pretty as a Peony

This is a beautiful peony flower from my garden that has just opened. It's really quite strange because when it flowered last year and the year before that it was candy pink, now it's red, or dark pink - I have no idea why because we have not done anything different with it.
It's my wedding anniversary today so we went out for a lovely celebratory lunch which I really enjoyed. Then we called in at the Garden Centre and bought some really pretty dahlias, which I will blip another day :-)
