Patterns in the rainbow

Bank Holiday Sunday, and we were up relatively early to do a car boot sale in the hope of selling things that we no longer need, or don't have space for in our new(-ish) abode. Once the initial few moments (when the 'vultures' descend and start asking for prices before you've even had a chance to open the van door!) were over it was quite good fun.

One lady who stopped by the van was waxing lyrical about someone selling plants, and I couldn't resist going to investigate. Came away with seven cottage garden plants for £10 - not in the best condition, but with a little TLC they'll thrive. Hopefully!

Unfortunately, proceedings came to an abrupt halt after a very heavy downpour. Luckily it didn't last long, but we got soaked all the same, and it wasn't long before everyone was packing up. Never mind, it was worth doing, though we still have quite a few things left for next time.

Meant to take some photos of the car boot, but left it too late, so today's Blip is the 'rainbow' I spotted in the kitchen. The extra will give you a clue.
