Total change

A break from my usual novels, this caught my eye in a charity book hut at a National Trust property last year. I decided now was the time to read it. It's moving and funny in equal measures so far. Coincidentally Sheila Hancock is in The Sixth Commandment that I have been watching on iPlayer.
When I started the book I noticed a handwritten note saying 'Christmas 04, lots of love from me' I wonder who me was....love things like this 
My eldest's birthday today. She's in Rhodes on holiday. Had a great video call this evening. She's having a great time.
