The above is a section from some work I've been doing in my sketchbook. I can't stand to paint so I've been enjoying working in watercolor, colored pencil, pen and acrylic pens. 

Meet with the doctor today and he said since the injection was only partially helpful, he doesn't see it as a long term solution. So he's making a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. He likes this person because he doesn't jump to surgery as his first choice if there are other choices. So I'll see what's next. Let's hope I can get an appointment soon!  Thanks for all of your good wishes.
