Today's cycle round the hill was markedly coughier than yesterday's, but it was relatively quiet so no-one much would have had to listen. The decision to head out early was later justified by the electricity and gas meter replacement technician turning up an hour before the expected window, with the work overlapping the return of the children, leaving me mostly trapped in the house until the evening.
