Mom in front of the Comstock Covered Bridge, over the Salmon River (-which is actually now a stocked trout stream)
the covered bridge was built in 1873. it obviously doesn't have traffic through it anymore, and was recently rebuilt, using as much of the original wood as possible, including most of the trusses inside and the doors. -love the sound of the river over the rocks !
We also ended up at the Dinosaur Place, a huge nature store with rocks, minerals, fossils, educational toys, jewelry making supplies, etc- perfect place for a rainy afternoon.
(had a scare with the check engine light on the new car this morn, but it was just the gas cap)
