Paul is 68 today!

The Feast of the Triumph of the Cross.
Thank You Jesus for our Salvation through the redeeming power of Your Holy Cross.

I wrote a heartfelt fairly long piece about my feelings about the greatness of Christ's Cross. Sadly it was with a photo of Tabby from a few days ago, so I have had to forget installing the photo and piece of writing.

Today we are blessed with a beautiful sunny day. It is 15c here.
We decided to avoid having a hyper - active day doing washing, ironing and window cleaning. Birthdays are special.

Instead, we had some breakfast, got our things together and went to the Garden Centre, a short drive away.
There we enjoyed the heavenly selection of well watered and displayed trees, plants, shrubs and everything you could want for a garden.
We bought bird coconut food, some Spring bulbs and five dark green window box style planters. We also needed 2 bags of bulb fibre.
I foolishly and by mistake bought some hydrangea food that turns pink hydrangeas blue! No, that will not be happening here. Hopefully we can return it and get a food that supports tge wellbeing of pink hydrangeas with alkaline soil. The food is expensive but only a little amount is needed.
