"Friendship"

This is Master Pink with his school's giraffe called "friendship". It symbolises the unique relationship between his school and the partner school in Mampoteng, Ghana. why? Well this year Colchester Zoo is celebrating it's 50th birthday and all over Colchester and beyond, there are decorated Giraffes. There are big ones decorated by artists and smaller ones decorated by local schools. they are all fabulous. We went on a giraffe hunt today, and found 17 of the 30 large giraffes and 45 giraffes in total. It was good fun, although surprisingly tiring!!

I think I may be slightly addicted now though as I'm planning my food shop and chores this week around possible Giraffe spotting!!
