Beer and a burn up

Busy, busy day. 7:45 am drop off for Cal to go running @county schools champs, back home for breakfast, dash off to Blackpool to watch Cal race then bring him home. In afternoon social event of the year so far down our avenue. Canada day celebration with my Canadian ex pat neighbour Doreen. It would normally be 1st July but she will be in Canada for her 40th birthday so she celebrated early. Good fun good company and a good BBQ. Had to leave in afternoon for a couple of hours to finish laying bathroom floor. Returned later when the riff raff had gone home and the good beer and good food was on the menu. Sat chatting until the sun was well below the horizon and we had burnt up every stick of spare wood we could find. Could have sore head tomorrow.
