An unexciting day when I meant to get lots done, but didn't

Tried to fill in an application for a more local job, and it was so difficult online it was untrue!  Gave up in the end - University of Reading, rubbish application system...

Went to the usual Friday coffee and chat, and then pottered.  Did a bit of gardening late afternoon.  Very sad to find a dead baby bird in the middle of the grass patch :(  I think it must have been dropped there by a red kite, I haven't got a clue otherwise....especially at this time of year?
