Kirkwall Harbour

I always find it difficult to resist wandering round a harbour on a sunny evening.

My whistle-stop first visit to Orkney took me up and down the west side of the mainland yesterday, and out along the Churchill Barriers to Burray and South Ronaldsay on the eastern end of Scapa Flow today. I finished up in Kirkwall to catch the late night ferry to complete the trip up to Shetland.
