Beside the Lake…..

The day dawned with a fine clear sky after a bout of heavy rain during the night. Maisie and I walked early, before a chilly sunrise.
I spent time with friend Lin’s amazing family before the Memorial Service early this afternoon. It was a lovely Service conducted by former Bishop Richard. Both Lin and I had known him for many years. Family members and I had the honor of giving eulogies. It was very special to honor such a lovely lady. After afternoon tea and the chance to catch up with folk, I gave friend Dawn a lift home. Then I drove to the lake at the Taylor Dam to spend time thinking of my friendship with Lin and her family and to contemplate the spring beauty at the lake.
