Glace

Today we had ice-cream while we sat in the sunshine. And you know what the best thing about them was? They were free, so tasted so much better!

The rest of our day was "fruitful", as Jen just pitched in. And by "fruitful" we mean that we had a god-awful van left for us by someone who we thought would have left it better as they had spent the entire week telling us how they kept fixing things in said van. No idea what they fixed, but having to re-clean all the dishes, glasses (which were greasy somehow!), as well as cleaning the normal things was not my idea of a fun afternoon. Similarly with Jen, I don't think cleaning up what seemed like the entirety of a beach from the rest of the van was on her to-do list either! Oh well, can't get lovely vans all the time (thank you Spicers, Smiths and Charming Man!)...

So, I know this life seems, in majority, idyllic from my writings about it so I thought I would try and give a rough estimation of how much work we actually do. So, in three weeks I have cleaned:-

- 336 dishes
- 168 bowls
- 84 pans
- 84 large glass bowls
- 168 forks
- 168 knives
- 105 large knives
- 21 pairs of scissors
- 32 ovens
- 34 hobs
- 30 microwaves
- 210 wine glasses
- 252 tall glasses
- 168 mugs
- 24 fridges
- 22 Pyrex dishes
- 18 plastic jugs
- 25 glass jugs
- 17 Pyrex jugs
- 126 assorted kitchen utensils
- 231 cupboards
- 168 baking trays
- 84 windows
- 42 blinds
- 9 fans
- 2 parasols
- 52 patio chairs
- 26 sun loungers
- 7 patio tables

And in three weeks, Jen has cleaned:-
- 34 toilets
- 34 showers
- 34 basins
- 84 single bed frames
- 21 double bed frames
- 105 mirrors
- 210 windows
- 42 tables
- 10 fans
- 105 cupboards
- 105 blinds (plus putting up 10 sets of new blinds)
- 11 parasols
- 6 patio tables
- 26 patio chairs
- 26 floors in entirety

Hopefully it shows that we do work as well as the sunning ourselves and the other various trips and evenings out we have!
