Skiffin'

We took the skiff out for a ride around the island this morning. We spotted an osprey in the creek on the way.  We headed out in the rivet to our secret fishing hole Where we caught 9 large perch and plenty of black wills. The Potomac River Taxi passed us off the island heading into the St. Mary's. I've never seen it in the river before today. Next we passed St. Francis Xavier Chapel on the island. Such a beautiful and beloved place. We saw rays on the island bar then headed to the St. Georges creek to beach comb. We saw several eagles there and we found a crab cork and filled a 5 gallon bucket with trash. We started our trip home and saw a blue heron and a muskrat back in the creek. The winds were light and we had a warm wonderful time. Hope you had a pleasant day as well. Many thanks for the visits!
