After breakfast, from which we made our lunch (of course) we drove to Sierra de Toix, a crag with a fantastic view over the bay with Benidorm in the background.

I've climbed here twice before but it was Fi's first time. We climbed 3 routes, pulling the rope through so that we were each doing the leading, then I needed a rest so I belayed Fi on 3 more... she's 17 years younger and much fitter than me.

It was very hot once the sun was on us after lunchtime, and 2 routes later we'd had enough and came back to the hotel. Then a swim in the pool and a relaxing read. Perfect!
