An ordinary life....

Rumour has it...

That Lola has been supplying the raw material for Donald Trump's head! :-o

I would like to confirm here and now that that is not the case, and all of Lola's excess fur goes into a holder in the garden for our resident wood pigeons to use in their nest (and all the other garden birds in spring time when they begin nesting :-)

Lola is not a fan of being brushed but puts up with it for treats (healthy ones - chopped up carrots, peppers) and tiny bits of cheese (top treat :-) when she's having her bloomers brushed as there are usually lots of tugs :-)

Up very early this morning as the plumber said he would be here sometime between 8am and 6pm.  He arrived just after 10am and thankfully it was an easy fix and within 15 minutes the cistern was quickly filling up again.

Returned to my crochet cardigan but lasted about 10 mins before I was bored again.  Sigh.  The devil on my shoulder is saying life is too short, stick it in a bag and forget about it for a while and move on to a more enjoyable project (so many balls of wool in the cupboard enticing me!) The angel on my other shoulder is saying knuckle down, spend half a day getting it finished and you will feel much better about it and can happily move on.

The next few days will reveal which angel won :-)

Time in the studio this afternoon to work on an engagement card for our friend's daughter who recently got engaged.  She's Scottish and her fiancee iis English so working on a design that incorporates a thistle and a rose.  Getting there with it.

Dinner followed by Strictly then (whisper it) some Christmas planning.  I know!  But it will be here in a blink!
