God, I am boring... thankfully

The ongoing news was too awful to face today, so I hid away from the world and watched Liverpool on tv. Then I made an effort to cheer myself up, cooked a turkey breast with all the trimmings for Thanksgiving dinner, drank way too much wine, watched a Pirates of the Caribbean with Ottawacker Jr. and Mrs. Ottawacker, and gave thanks for not living in a place where cruelty and terror are rife. Quite often, there is a lot to be said for boredom.
