Evening sky over the Tamar

Having had to walk to church to get the bag I left there after serving coffee last night I came back by bus and then was picked up by Jane to go for a walk in Saltram Gardens and through the park. The weather was a bit overcast but soon cleared up.

Jane was horrified to discover that she had left her phone at home so it was up to me to pay for the coffee and cake. We shared a piece of carrot cake and coffee and walnut cake. The carrot cake was delicious and moist while the coffee and walnut was a bit dry.

Put my sweet potato in the oven to bake before going for a walk to enjoy the late sunshine and was entranced by the clouds.

Extras: there were swathes of cyclamen under the trees so autumn has arrived, the cows were very happy munching as they streamed across the grass, we walked past the amphitheatre, closed off to the public as the cliff is in danger of falling, the fallen tree is looking very much like an art installation of a gigantic lizard, another shot of the sky,
