On Passage

We walked from Brixham today to Berry Head and then back to Paignton. As well as enjoying our favourite walk we were also looking for birds on passage. There was a report of 2000 redwings at Berry Head, and 500 at Broadsands. Unfortunately we saw none. We need to get up earlier, and be at Berry Head at dawn. It was a great day anyway. The old trawlers looked fantastic in the harbour and I got to visit two libraries as well. Difficult to beat. A two library day - perfection.
Bird of the day was a long tailed tit and its friends.
