Tuesday 16 June 2009: The Four Just Cygnets.....
A quick visit to the nature reserve today yielded numerous shots of Great Crested Grebe Feeding a Chick, but the fish is so big it cannot swallow it, and the adult took it off the chick and ate it then went to find a smaller one. There was the ever watchful Grey heron, standing ready to pounce on a stray fish.
The Cob Swan was Showing off in the distance and Flaring his wings.
I am off to the shooting club tonight as I have a couple of league cards to shoot tonight and I don't want to let the team down.
