Cairngorm Pit Stop

Up early this morning to head up onto the Cairngorm plateau. Headed up around Coire an Lochain, to Ben Macdui. We then returned the ski centre car park via Cairngorm. This is a picture of MrsB walking around the edge of Coire an t-Sneachda.

While I've been to the Cairngorms a fair bit over the last few years winter climbing, we were shocked to work out that this was the first time MrsB had been there since 2005! Guess we've been heading to the west coast to often.

Was a great day out on the hills, still a surprising amount of snow up on the plateau. Dispite the cloud, I still managed to catch the sun - guess it was a nicer day than I thought.
