Straight Outta Staines

A working day for us both and then a dash across to Oxford this evening. We were out to see the band Hard-Fi. Most people (who recognise the name) will probably remember them from the mid-2000s when they had a string of hits before going on an extended hiatus. They are back and currently on tour playing some smaller venues (like the O2 Academy in Oxford). It was a superb gig, the band really well rehearsed and loving playing to a very appreciative audience in an absolutely packed out venue. We managed to get ourselves very close to the front and got a great view. A top night out.
