Steps up and down

Laurie was here by himself both yesterday and today to make progress towards finishing the retaining wall. The steps go up to what will become a level planting area. Higher still is another planting area; it will include trees. At the bottom of the wall we have had added boards to allow for border planting. Should soften the hard lines of the timber in the wall.

The extra was taken when I was returning from a walk to the Woodlands Park Store with a milk bottle refilled. This is a good way to get milk and avoids plastic. A tree, the bark of which appears to be flaking off, is host to a t least two epiphytes.
