Storm Babet

The timing was bad- storm Babet was not taking prisoners as we drove down from Cullen through an area sporting a red rain warning. At times the colour of the sky and the sheets of rain were one and the same and the spray off the lorries as we passed made it seem as though we were going through a car wash. Just as we made it to Perth and through the worst of the weather, we hit a 2 mile tail back because of road works at the Friarton Bridge. Happy Days!

The sea in Cullen was a spectacular boiling mass of white foam with huge angry rolling waves off shore. I spent time trying to get the iconic wave crashing over the harbour wall but my reactions weren’t quick enough.
My blip doesn’t do justice to the scene.
