Bunny Bath

We often see wild rabbits in our back yard/garden, as it backs onto a wide swath of undeveloped land, with wild blackberry thickets coming right up to our back fence. One of this season's little rabbits, however, has developed a fondness for our front yard/garden, where it finds protection between the rapidly expanding shrubs.

I shot a dozen photos of it sleeping, and then things got more interesting -- the rabbit woke up, stretched just like a cat, yawned, and proceeded to clean itself thoroughly prior to the next snack, a tasty red barberry leaf, easily within reach.

Maybe we need to put up a Bunny Bed & Breakfast sign!
