Wednesday 17 June 2009: Street Chuanr
It's not as good as the chuanr (pronounce chwarr) from Harbin though. That stuff is to die for.
As you can see from the background, this guy doesn't live in the most exclusive part of Shenyang. He does what he can to feed his family and sells chuanr (food on a stick) to the locals. During the summer months, tables are set up in the street for drinking copious amounts of beer with the chuanr. Reminds me.. I haven't had dinenr tonight yet. Wil be back later to comment where I can.
