Urban Gulls

'Springwatch' this week featured urban gulls breeding on Aberdeen rooftops. I therefore decided to show you two of the Fife contingent resident in Kirkcaldy.

These are herring gulls (Larus argentatus) though most of the rooftop nesters here are lesser black-backed gulls.

The gulls were viewed out of my back window and the backdrop sky is the view out of my front window so both components of the image were taken this evening.
