Mr. Taverna

Meet Mr. Walter Taverna. He is 79 years old and has lived all his life in Bixiga, a popular Italian neighborhood of São Paulo. He owns the Italian restaurant Conchetta (pictured here), is the founder and president of an organization to preserve the local traditions and is the creator of the huge cake (it used to appear in the Guinness Book of Records) that is served to celebrate the anniversary of São Paulo.

PS: I couldn't help to notice the fact that his last name is Taverna (tavern) and he owns a restaurant. His fate was already written!
