Croft House Museum

A bit of a misty and light rain of a day :( Clearing up now :)
Been working all day at the Croft House Museum, covering for someone who was off sick. Had a busy day with tourists and my friend Bernard turned up too :) The Croft House is set in the 1870s and a great place to visit. With a real open peat fire and a thatched roof. Learn all about Shetland's crofting history.
Bernard is pictured here blowing on the louder horn. Bernard's family came from this exact croft, his granny was brought up in this house. The house was abandoned in the 1950s before turning into a museum in 1970.
Taken at the Croft House Museum, South Voe, Boddam, Shetland.
