The school run

If it is forecast to to rain you can guarantee that it will happen on one or other of the school runs!  Today was no exception.  In Extras I've posted a pic of the forest road that we took, in case the roadworks had actually started along our favoured route, before the rain became torrential.  The roadworks hadn't started and the rain did become torrential!
This evening we had a dry run but had to use the spare car keys as Mr MC had mislaid the main ones.  When we got home we spent an inordinate amount of time looking for them, retracing his  steps when I had brainwave:  I found said keys in Violet's closed umbrella, which was in the porch in our umbrella stand!  Having found them, we were able to settle down to Ch*i*tm*s film chosen by Violet.  No, it's never to early!
