Winterton Beach

We are back on seal warden duty this season, completing our first shift on Sunday. it was a very quiet time as not many seals have hauled up on this section of beach.  Their preference is for Horsey beach about 3 miles north of here as there is more shelter in the rock groynes that help ease erosion. Last year around 3800 pups were born on this section of coastline, how many survived is not known.
