After an unusually sociable few days I spent the afternoon reading Christos Tsiolkas’s new novel followed by a new Australian film - The Big Dog - at the Dendy and the traditional quiet one at Kelly’s. Unusually, the pub was popular. Must’ve been the lure of the meat raffle.
