The Queen Elizabeth Lookout

In 1954 when the new Queen visited Australia, she travelled through the Blue Mountains, "opening" just about everything in sight ... including this (now) old lookout at Katoomba's Echo Point, which bears her name. These days a magnificent new expanse of public viewing space looks down upon this structure which is still used by lots of people who may be keen to photograph the most uninterrupted views of the Jamison Valley.
