This could only be my blip for the day, first time ever I have managed to get close enough to a wild deer
Dearly Beloved threw me out of the house, wanted to fix the electrics.
Set off over the Granites to wards Edinburgh and turned off for Heriot, instead of dropping onto the A7 I took the back road to Fountain hall this runs paralell with the A7 and is just a single track road. From the high points you can see the new railway track being laid.
From Fountainhall Got stuck behind on of those cyclists, you know the ones Head down & backside in the air and I'm not giving way to anyone. Don't care what anyone says If you are holding up traffic on a single track road in these parts hereabouts you pull into a passing place and let a faster vehicle pass (my mump for the day)
dropped down into Stow over the A7 To Lauder, thought to pop in and see a friend , if she was in. Must be out not dogs barking. Back door wide to the wall and music blasting for one of the bedroom, must be one of the boys, Shouted but no answer, good job she lives in big stone built house in it's own grounds ( thought to leave a cryptic message and then though better of it :))
Stuck to the back road again and set off to Galashiels and the road home. Turned off the main road again and took the old road past the Peel and on to Elibank, Had just got out of the car to take a couple of shots of Elibank Castle and along comes my neighbours from across the road, all had a good laugh about the coincidence. On passed Walkerburn and home passed the Car park for the Mountain bike trails, It was really jumping.
Got home just as Dearly Beloved was tightening the last screw
Don't usually ramble on like this, Luck it doesn't happen often
