Soil enrichment

The allotment committee (of which we are now members) organised a delivery of farmyard (aka horse) manure today. £1 a wheelbarrow load, maximum of 5 loads. It was bitterly cold but I did warm up muck shovelling and wheeling it to and fro our plot five times. Muck spreading will have to wait for the weather to warm up a little!
