Building Sn3 and N Worlds

By Stationmaster

Back finally in the room

Today I told down the plastic wall that had, for six months, protected my Sn3 layout from dust etc during our remodeling of the upstairs bathroom.  The plastic went up at the beginning of June and we are almost done.  Just some plumbing and towel racks to be installed.  It has taken a long time because everyone that owns a hammer or wrench in Durango are very busy.  So we sort of slipped into the work breaks.  But the work has been excellent.

In the extras, you can see the piece of cardboard that is next to the cattle pen.  That is the space for the last structure I need to build for this layout - been saving it as it is a beautiful general store project I bought long ago from Rags to Riches.  They have since retired.  The space from the cattle pens is the last area to get landscaped.

OK - the two warehouses in the back left corner are stand-ins - printed color from drawings and pasted on foam core.  I will scratch build these two when the general store is complete. Then we will be done building.
