Newport High Street

This morning we went to Bishop's Stortford as I had to take Victoria for her orthodontist appointment to have her 'tram tracks' checked. They have put a stronger wire in and they are pleased with the progress, particularly of the upper right fifth tooth which is the one which is twisted. Her baby tooth in this position did not fall out when it should have done, hence the twisted tooth. This apparently is 'turning' nicely and will be ready to be pulled back into line when we visit again in August. Then before she went to school we had breakfast in the café, she missed English, but learnt rather a lot of science instead, just by discussing things with Mr A.

This afternoon I walked to the village shop and on the way took this picture of the High Street, on a dull afternoon. This is rather a contrast to this one, taken almost in the same place on 20 April 2013.
