Packwood House

We went to Packwood House, the National Trust property near Solihull, and met up with John and Jennie.  The place was packed, which made finding a table in the cafe quite difficult.   Luckily a four seater vacated and we swooped and grabbed it quickly.  Settled down we had lunch and coffee and a good chat.

Later we walked over to the house to see the decorations.  Very nice and tasteful!  The picture is of part of the tree in the grand entrance with Holbein's portrait of Henry VIII in the background. The extra is Ann, John and Jennie in the gardens of the house.
