Heidelberg

No, we didn’t beam us. The village in the Western Cape of South Africa is named in honour of the German town because of its similar topographic position. Heidelberg was established after churchgoers got permission to build their own Dutch Reformed Church in 1855. We stayed overnight in a lovely B&B and made the historic walking tour after one of the most delicious breakfasts I ever had. A part of it is in the extra.
