Molly First Big Haircut.

The girls came back today.  /they've spent most of the day in next doors pool.

Around lunchtime we took Molly to the groomers.

The last time we went she only had her face and feet trimmed.

But her fur under her long coat has got really matted.  It doesn't matter how much we brush her; we can't get the mats out.

So basically, she had to be shaved.

When we went back to get her a storm was just starting to brew.

By the time we walked out the shopping centre it was in full swing.

My husband went to get the car, whilst I waited with a reasonably calm dog.

Then there were 3 massive lightening sticks in front of me, and two loud thunder bangs, and she got scared.

I picked her, and just bundled her into the car.

We got home without any further incident.

Molly looks like a tiny puppy again.  Without any fur she looks so small.

In our current heat, she's probably better off with no fur!
