Highland Stoneware

This is one of my favourite mugs and has been with us a long time. It's made by Highland Stoneware in their workshop at Lochinver in the north west Highlands.

Had quite an eventful evening with the bees. I'm fairly sure they were going to swarm, and so today I built a new nucleus hive and put the queen in it along with lots of workers and food. I'm hoping the hive where she came from will now rear a new queen and keep up the good work of filling the supers. Fingers crossed I've done the right thing. With any luck, I might have two colonies soon.
