Heads down, tails up, dabbling free

Wonderful walk in Bushy Park with family today.  Two were top notch botanists who were able to name practically everything and we collected seeds for me to try and propagate next year.

In the extras are the 'knees' or pneumatophores of the Taxodium distichum tree - looking rather like meerkat lookouts - an early marsh marigold and  a fungus which probably was unsafe to eat.
