Brunch on the deck

Our daughters provided some interesting dishes for our brunch on Christmas Day. A bottle of French Champagne from the 'cellar' complemented the food, and it was a pleasant couple of hours.

the Auckland grandsons joined us in the afternoonand it was after 9 pm before the family left. While everyone was here, Tsuken and family connected with us via FaceTime, and that was lovely. I had to cut short my conversation with them as my contribution to the cooking required my full attention to the pork and asparagus on the BBQ. The timing was nigh on perfect and everyone was satisfied.

Unfortunately rain meant that we could not have our dinner on the deck.  dinner
