Eastern Phoebe

The Eastern Phoebe is one of my very favorite winter visitors here in North Central Florida. I always look forward to hearing its distinctive songs and calls. They call out their names, a very clear 'phoe-be' repeated many times. 
Phoebes are insectivores, in the family 'Tyrant Flycatchers', and they are very fond of our BarkButter offerings. Here's a link so you can hear their sweet voice:
